An hours sign answers one question, and it is not “what do you sell”. It is “can I come in right now”. OPEN 24/7, OPEN TILL LATE, and CLOSED SUNDAYS all survive being read at a glance from the far side of a street. A sentence about your product does not.
Resist stacking a second message onto the same loop. The moment an hours sign also advertises a promotion, it stops being scannable and someone standing outside at 9pm has to wait through the offer to learn whether you are open. If you need both, run them on separate screens or separate shifts.
Neon blue holds up in a lit window better than warmer colours, which wash out against daylight and shop lighting. If the sign will face direct sun for part of the day, test it at that hour rather than at night.
Neon Blue
Use neon blue when the message is hours or availability, not a slogan. Short Text such as OPEN 24/7 survives distance. Avoid stacking a second promotion on the same loop.
