Scrolling text generator
Make scrolling text in the Preview, then play it as an LED banner. This is the same Editor as the homepage, for people looking for a scrolling text maker instead of a hardware sign. There is nothing to download or install and no account to make: the page you are already on is the tool.
What this generator makes
You get moving Text on a screen: left, right, up, or down, at a speed you can read from a few meters away. Export a GIF when you need a file. Use Fullscreen Play when the screen itself is the sign.
It does not make WhatsApp "I love you" wave paste, HTML marquee snippets, or Premiere title rolls. Those searches want copy-paste art or a video timeline. This page is a live LED ticker.
Everything runs inside the browser tab. Text is never uploaded, so a price, a name, or a flight number stays on your own device. Close the tab and there is nothing left on a server to delete.
How to generate scrolling text
Stay in the Editor above:
- Replace Sample Text with the words you want people to read.
- Set contrast first. Light Text on a dark background is the usual LED look.
- Slow the speed if the sentence is long. Fast scroll only works for short phrases.
- Pick a direction. Left is the marquee default; up reads as a credits crawl.
- Fullscreen Play for a room. Export when you need a clip for chat or social.
Export a GIF, or keep it live
Fullscreen Play and Export suit opposite jobs. One keeps the Text moving on the device in front of you: the screen is the sign. The other writes a file that can travel without you.
Export when the Text has to leave the room, as a GIF in a group chat, a clip dropped into a story, or a loop handed to someone running a screen you do not control. Choose a full cycle so the loop meets itself cleanly. A fixed duration cuts mid-scroll, and the seam is visible every time it repeats.
Keep it live when you are standing next to the screen. A phone in a shop window runs for hours on a charger, and a typo is a five-second fix rather than a re-export and a re-send.
Generator, CSS marquee, and video tools
Four different things answer the phrase "scrolling text", and only one of them is this page.
| Tool | What you get | Where it plays | Install | Change the words |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| This generator | A live Preview, or an exported GIF | Any browser, fullscreen | None | Type over it |
| CSS marquee | Code you paste into a page | A website you control | None, but you need the site | Edit the code |
| Video maker | A rendered file for a timeline | YouTube, TikTok, a feed | Premiere, CapCut, or similar | Render it again |
| Phone app | An icon and offline playback | That one phone | App store download | Inside the app |
Which one you want
If someone in the room will look at a screen, use this page. If the Text belongs inside a website you own, write a marquee. If it belongs in a video edit, use the video tool and accept the render.
The Editor is identical on every page of this site. Only the guide copy changes, to answer a different search.
