LED Scroller is a free browser tool for writing a line of scrolling LED Text and playing it on a screen you already own: a phone in a shop window, a tablet at arrivals, a laptop on a counter. There is nothing to download, nothing to install, and no account to make.
It is not a shop. It does not sell LED cabinets, pixel-pitch panels, or outdoor displays, and it cannot help you buy one.
Nowhere. What you type is held in the page, drawn onto a canvas by your own browser, and never sent to this site. There is no account, no database, and no server-side copy of anything you write. Exporting a GIF or a video happens in your browser too — the file is produced on your device and saved from there.
Two things are worth knowing, because both are you sending it somewhere:
Usage is counted with Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service. It records which features get used — that an export started, which scene was applied, whether a share succeeded — along with details like the export quality and frame rate.
Your Text is not part of that. Where the length of a shared message is recorded, it is the number of characters and not the characters themselves. Analytics loads on every visit.
This site carries Google AdSense, which is what pays for it. The ad script is not loaded at all unless you choose "Accept all" on the cookie notice. Choose "Essential only" and no advertising script runs.
