LED Scroller: free scrolling text banner in your browser
LED Scroller is a free browser tool for writing and playing scrolling LED Text on a phone, tablet, or desktop. The Editor at the top of the page is where that happens: type Text, change the look, then Fullscreen Play. There is nothing to install, and nothing you type leaves the browser.
What is an LED scroller?
An LED scroller is a moving line of bright Text, the kind of marquee you see in a shop, a station, or on a stage. This site puts that look in the Preview: large letters, high contrast, looping so someone across the room can still read it.
This is not a shop for LED cabinets, pixel-pitch panels, or outdoor nits. Buy hardware from a vendor. If you already have a screen and need a line of Text on it, use this Editor.
Every control only changes the Preview. Fullscreen Play is how the on-site job ends: a phone in a window, a tablet at arrivals, a laptop on a counter. Share a URL when someone else should open the same Text.
How to create a scrolling LED banner
Use the Editor above. Same steps on every device:
- Type your Text in the docked field. Sample Text is a demo until you replace it.
- Pick color, size, speed, and direction so the Preview stays readable.
- Apply a Template for a named starting LED, or a Scene when only the look should change and the words should stay.
- Tap Fullscreen Play. On a phone, rotate to landscape for a wider banner.
What people use it for
A shop stands a phone in the window for a lunch special. Event staff hold a tablet as a pickup sign. Streamers leave a ticker on a monitor. None of that needs an app store install as long as the browser tab stays open.
LED scroller vs phone apps vs hardware signs
Play Store apps named "LED Scroller" are built for concerts and parties with the phone in your hand. They are a better fit when you want an offline icon and sound. Use this page when you want to open a URL, share the same Text, or run the Preview on a laptop and a phone without installing anything.
A hardware scrolling sign is a purchase: power, mounting, and a vendor. Use this tool when you already have a screen. Use a vendor when you need a weatherproof cabinet.
