What Is an LED Scroller?
An LED scroller is moving text on a bright screen. This page explains the browser tool, how it differs from hardware signs and phone apps, and when to use each.
An LED scroller is a line of Text that moves across a bright field so people can read it from a distance. Shops, stations, and stages use it because a static sign is easy to ignore, and a paragraph is too long to shout.
What this site means by LED scroller
LED Scroller Online is a browser Editor. You type Text, watch it in the Preview, change color and speed, then Fullscreen Play. Sample Text is only there so the Preview looks like a sign before you type. It is not saved, shared, or exported.
The site does not sell cabinets, modules, receiving cards, or installation. Those searches want a vendor with a warehouse.
Hardware sign, phone app, and this Editor
A hardware scrolling sign is something you mount and power. Buy it when you need weatherproof brightness every day.
A phone app named LED Scroller is an icon on the home screen. Use it when the phone is the sign in your hand at a concert and you do not want browser chrome.
This Editor is a URL. Use it when a screen you already have should become the sign, when you need to share the same Text as a link, or when another app is more hassle than it is worth.
How to use the Editor
Each control only changes the Preview. Fullscreen Play finishes an on-site job; it is not a tutorial. A Template replaces Text with a named starting LED. A Scene changes the look and leaves the words alone.
If you need a starting point, open the Template library, apply one, then edit. If you already have words, skip the library.
When this Editor is the wrong tool
Do not use it to generate WhatsApp wave paste, a CSS marquee snippet, or a Star Wars crawl for Premiere. Use a copy-paste generator, a code snippet, or a video timeline.
Do not use it to choose pixel pitch, nits, or steel mounts. That is hardware procurement.
